Pink and Chocolate Popcorn - A Valentine's Day Treat

2 bags Microwavable Popcorn, unbuttered

Pink Popcorn:
2 cups Sugar
1 Tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Water
Watkins Natural Red Food Coloring

Chocolate Popcorn:
1 oz Semi-sweet Chocolate Baking Squares (about 8 Squares)

Pop each bag of popcorn in the microwave depending on the instructions on the package. Remove and set aside. One bag will be used for the chocolate, the other for the pink popcorn.

For the pink popcorn, boil the sugar, butter, water, and food coloring for 3 minutes in a pot, stir occasionally. Let cool for 10 minutes. Slowly poor the sugar mixture over the popcorn on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and coat evenly. Let it dry.

For the chocolate popcorn, spread the other bag of popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper. Melt the chocolate in double boiler or microwave and pour it over the popcorn. Toss thoroughly, using two large spoons. Let cool and break apart before serving both types of popcorn.

Serve in party bags for Valentin'e Day or Birthday!
