Steak Tacos with Cucumber Avocado Salsa
A juicy, spice-rubbed steak with cool, refreshing salsa is sure to be a family favorite.

1 tablespoon Watkins Chili Powder
1/4 teaspoon Watkins Cinnamon
Pinch Watkins Cayenne Pepper
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic or 1/2 teaspoon Watkins Garlic Flakes
1 1/4 pounds top sirloin steak, (1-inch thick), trimmed of excess fat
4-6 small flour tortillas

Cucumber Avocado Salsa
2 cups finely chopped, peeled seeded cucumber
1/2 cup diced avocado
1/2 cup diced tomato
1/3 cup chopped red onion
3 tablespoons chopped jalapenos (jar at supermarket)
2 tablespoons lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste

1. In small bowl, combine chili powder, cinnamon, cayenne, salt, garlic. Rub mixture on both sides of steak.
2. Grill or pan-fry steak in nonstick skillet 5-6 minutes on each side, or until done, according to preference. Cut into thin slices.
3. Heat tortillas in microwave between damp paper towels 30 seconds.
4. Fill tortillas with steak, serve topped with condiments.
5. To make salsa, in bowl, combine all ingredients.

Makes 4-6 servings
